Everything about Hofbr Uhaus totally explained

The Staatliches Hofbräuhaus in München (literally state court-brewery in Munich, also Hofbräu München) is a brewery in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, owned by the state government. The Hof (court) comes from the brewery's history as a royal brewery in the Kingdom of Bavaria.
The brewery owns the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl, the Hofbräukeller, both not operated by the brewery, and the second largest tent at the Oktoberfest (Hofbräu-Festzelt). Its own brew, of course, is the only beer served.
The Hofbräuhaus in Munich inspired a world wide famous song, and the phrase "oans, zwoa, g'suffa" (bavarian dialect for: "one, two, chug").

Hofbräuhaus outside Germany

Hofbräuhaus has been operating in Melbourne, Australia since 1968. Hofbräuhaus franchises have been opened in the several places in the U.S., including the first in Newport, Kentucky, opening in 2003. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Las Vegas, Nevada, Miami Beach, Florida, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania later followed. There is also a Hofbräuhaus bar and grill in Wrigleyville in Chicago, Illinois called The Uberstein.
The first Hofbräuhaus in Europe outside Germany was opened in Genoa, Italy, see Hofbräuhaus Genova. There is also a Hofbräuhaus in Stockholm, Sweden. The JW Marriott hotel in Dubai has licensed the brand and has opened a restaurant in their hotel. The Hofbräuhaus Seoul was the first Hofbräuhaus in Asia. There has been a franchise at the Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok in the 1990s for some years as well.
